セブン＆アイ・ホールディングス傘下のセブン―イレブン・ジャパンは4日、永松文彦副社長（62）が8日付で社長に昇格する人事を正式発表した。永松氏は東京都内で記者会見し、コンビニ加盟店に一律に求めてきた24時間営業を店の事情に合わせて柔軟に見直す意向を示した。セブンの成長を支えてきたビジネスモデルは大きな転換点を迎えた。
永松氏は加盟店ごとに経営環境は非常に大きく異なっているため「個店に合わせた柔軟な対応を営業時間においても判断していきたい」と説明した。
同席したセブン＆アイの井阪隆一社長も24時間営業に「実証実験を踏まえ、柔軟に対応していきたい」と語った。
