Rain that began with thunderstorms Wednesday evening in central Pennsylvania are expected to continue into part of Thursday morning, before sunshine appears later in the day.
Showers that some residents are seeing as they wake up this morning are likely to continue through about 8 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.
Thursday is supposed to be partly sunny overall, however, with a high near 85.
Forecasts for the next several days are largely uneventful compared to Wednesday’s forceful winds and rain that knocked down trees and power lines.
Friday is predicted to be a clear, sunny summer day, with a high near 84. Scattered showers are in the forecast Saturday and Sunday, but forecasters are calling for sun both days and temperatures in the high 70s.
