CHANDLER, AZ — Students in the Chandler Unified School district will be heading back to class two weeks later than originally planned.
Wednesday night, the district’s governing board voted to push the start date for students back to August 5. Schools were originally scheduled to reopen July 22.
TONIGHT @ChandlerUnified pushed back the start date for schools by two weeks, to August 5. Also passed a requirement for students and staff to wear masks when they cannot social distance. As of this afternoon, @higleydistrict @KyreneSchools will still start in July.
