The not-so-summer-like pattern of cooler, cloudy weather continues well into the week, with the best chances for warming coming closer to the weekend.
Tuesday is another in a line of cloudy mornings punctuated by some scattered showers. The high will be near 68 degrees, well below the average for this time of year. Weak cold fronts, responsible for the clouds and cooling, will continue to move through the area into the latter half of the week.
Shower activity may taper off Wednesday. Expect abundant clouds, but drier conditions throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service. Some gradual clearing is likely for the afternoon. The high will be 74.
More wet systems moving into northwest Oregon and southwest Washington will bring an increase in wet weather Thursday. There are chances for rain later in the morning, then again in the afternoon. The high will be near 74.
Our first chance for a fully sunny day this week looks to be Friday.
