Chick-fil-A closing on a Sunday? Nothing new.
Chick-fil-A closing on a Saturday? Yes, it’s true.
The popular fast-food chicken chain will close for an entire weekend later this month because Christmas Day (Dec. 25) falls on a Saturday this year.
Chick-fil-A is normally closed on Sundays because of its devout Christian ownership.
That means Chick-fil-A will close for the entire Dec. 25-26 weekend and reopen on Monday, Dec. 27. The last time this happened was in 2010.
There are about 2,600 Chick-fil-A locations in the United States and 53 restaurants in New Jersey.
