Starting off dry with mostly sunny skies. As the day continues clouds will increase and so will our rain/storm chances.
Showers will arrive in the later afternoon/early evening. Especially where the ground hasn't had enough time to recover from last week's rain event, isolated flooding can't be ruled out. Heavy downpours are possible for today and tomorrow.
The Excessive Rainfall Outlook (issued by the Weather Prediction Center) has downgraded the flood threat over our area today. We can't completely rule out the flood threat for our area if heavy downpours (especially slow moving storms) form. This could lead to isolated flooding for today.
Temperatures to start are in the 50s and 60s with dew points around the same allowing a chilly start. Highs will be in the 70s and 80s pretty close to yesterday's high temperatures.
Overnight scattered rain showers are possible. We will remain cloudy with patchy fog developing. Lows will be in the 50s and 60s.
Our Wednesday brings a day where showers and storms will start earlier. We could see some lingering showers as early as tomorrow morning. Rain/storms will continue to expand across the viewing area throughout the day. Heavy downpours once again are possible. We aren't tracking a threat for severe weather for today or tomorrow, but a threat for flooding is possible.
