Sunny and hot weather is expected Tuesday across North Texas with highs close to normal for late August. Continued dry weather before a chance of rain arrives Wednesday and Thursday. These rain chances will be dependent on the tracks of tropical systems Marco and Laura. A shift in these tracks could alter our rain chances.

Hot and dry weather will return for the weekend. Highs will likely be in the upper 90s.

An Air Quality Alert remains in effect Tuesday due to potentially high levels of ozone and other pollutants. Those with respiratory issues should limit their time outside.
