Scattered showers form later this afternoon; highs trending cooler than average - WVVA TV

sumurbelakang.blogspot.com

Shouldn't run into any weather issues during the morning commute. Dry weather is starting us off with temperatures in the 50s and 60s. Throughout the morning hours we will have times of clouds and sun.

Temperatures are still trending cooler than average. Highs will be in the 70s for most. The lower elevations will witness highs in the lower 80s.

Scattered showers and an isolated storm or two will try to build back in this afternoon.

Yesterday, most of the rain stayed off to our east where flooding issues arose. We are keeping an eye to southwest Virginia as some model runs are showing a few heavy downpours possible to cross through today. Flooding overall is low, but we can't rule out the chances for an isolated flood threat.

These scattered showers will come to an end overnight. A stray shower is possible, but most should dry out with cloudy skies. Overnight lows will be in the 50s and 60s.

Friday brings a better chance for widespread showers and storms. The majority of the rain will arrive in the afternoon and evening, but a few showers will try to pop in during the morning hours. Isolated flooding issues are possible yet again tomorrow and on Saturday as widespread rain/storms will be with us.
