ABOUT NEVADA: The Wolf Pack is fresh off a series sweep of in-state rival UNLV. Nevada downed the Rebels Sunday (89-60) and Tuesday (72-62). Sophomore forward Zane Meeks averaged 15 points and seven rebounds per game against UNLV, in his return to the Wolf Pack rotation after missing both of Nevada's losses at Wyoming the previous week. Sophomore guard Grant Sherfield, a transfer from Wichita State, ranks second in the Mountain West in points per game (18.3) and assists per game (5.7).

SERIES HISTORY: Nevada leads the all-time series 48-28 after the teams split last year's season series, each winning on its home floor. The Broncos dropped the first game in Reno, 83-66. Boise State knocked off Nevada, 73-64, at ExtraMile Arena to snap an eight-game skid in the series. The Broncos have not won in Reno since Jan. 13, 2016.

INTO FEBRUARY: Boise State finished the month of January with a record of 14-2. The two losses match the fewest by a Bronco team entering the month of February in program history (1987-88). The 14 wins are the second-most through 16 games in program history, trailing the 1987-88 squad's 15-1 start. That team got out to a 16-1 start before dropping back-to-back games. The team finished the year 24-6, falling to No. 10 Michigan in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, 63-58.

SWIPE: Boise State got back to its thievery in last week's series at Colorado State. The Broncos picked up 19 steals across the two games, recording at least nine in each. Through 16 games, Boise State has tallied at least nine steals six times, matching last year's total and tied for the fourth most in a season under Leon Rice. Nevada gives up steals on 9.2 percent of possessions, seventh in the MW and No. 188 nationally, per KenPom.

RELENTLESS: Boise State is one of only four schools nationwide to rank in the top 40 of scoring offense and scoring defense, joining Baylor, Drake and UC Santa Barbara. The Broncos' 79.9 points per game rank 38th nationally, while they also rank 32nd allowing 63.1 points per game. The +16.8 average scoring margin is No. 10 in the country. The Broncos also rank in the top 50 in rebound margin (+6.9; 25th) and turnover margin (+4.6; 11th).
