Local Forecast
TONIGHT: Partly to mostly cloudy with gusty winds up to 30 mph. Lows in the low 40s.
TOMORROW: Partly to mostly cloudy with spotty showers possible by afternoon. Highs in the low 60s.
EXTENDED: The jet stream continues to be locked into a northwest flow pattern through the middle of next week, keeping temperatures cooler than normal for the next 7-10 days. We'll see another front moving through on Thursday into Friday, bringing a chance of more organized showers through early Friday morning. Temperatures on Friday struggle to get to 60, but we clear out early in the day, leaving us with more sunshine. Friday night will bring nearly freezing temperature to parts of Mid-Missouri, with patchy frost possible for areas north of I-70. The record low in Columbia on Saturday morning is 31, so our forecast will be flirting with that number with lows expected to be around 35 degrees. Over the weekend, we bounce back into the low 60s on Saturday, with a chance at rain early on Sunday for the northern half of the area. Temperatures hold in the low 60s going into early next week.
