As you wake up and head out the door, watch out for areas of patchy fog during the morning commute. Fog should slowly dissipate as the morning goes on and will not be a factor by the early afternoon. Skies remain partly cloudy today with highs reaching into the low 80s, right on track for this time of year temperature-wise. By the later part of the afternoon and kids are getting out of school we'll be watching out for pop-up showers and a few weak storms to develop. These bubble showers will be short lived, most falling apart just as soon as they pop-up. We'll dry out as night approaches. lingering moisture and calm winds could allow for more fog to develop overnight into Wednesday morning.
There's more chances for pop-ups as the heat and humidity slowly rise throughout the workweek.
Meteorologist Liz Szewczyk is tracking the latest this morning on Fort Wayne's NBC Today from 5-7 AM.
