The Oklahoma City Thunder are obviously entering a rebuilding phase, and three players could not be back next season.
One player that could not be back is Tony Bradley.
Bradley is set to become a restricted free agent.
In 22 games with OKC, he averaged 8.7 points and 6.1 rebounds per game while shooting 65.6% from the field.
Another player that could not be back is Mike Muscala, who’s set to be an unrestricted free agent.
In 2019, he signed a two-year deal with OKC that was worth $4.3 million. During his time with the Thunder, he averaged 4.8 points and 2.3 rebounds while shooting 40.7% from the field.
He started the 2020 season hot, averaging a career-high 9.7 points and 3.8 rebounds per game while shooting 44.6% from the field. Unfortunately, he missed the final 33 games due to a right ankle sprain.
The third player not coming back to OKC is Al Horford.
Along with Moses Brown and a 2023 second-round draft pick, he was traded last week in exchange for Kemba Walker from the Boston Celtics.
The organization shut down Horford so younger players could get more playing time.
In 28 games for OKC, Horford averaged 14.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per contest while shooting 45% from the field and averaging 36.8% from beyond the arc.
