Former Boston College football running back will be reunited with Steve Addazio, as he will be transferring to Colorado State for this coming season.
Former @BCFootball RB David Bailey is reportedly transferring to Colorado State.
He'll be the sixth Eagle to transfer to CSU since Steve Addazio took over as the Rams' head coach in December 2019.
Bailey led BC with 503 yards and 7 TDs on the ground last season.

Bailey will be missed by the Eagles, as he has been an important piece of the offense on the ground. However, with plenty of other weapons returning on offense - including grad student Travis Levy at running back, as well as Pat Garwo, a redshirt sophomore who got some touches last season, the hope is that BC will be able to replace Bailey’s production without too much of a dropoff.
247Sports ranked Bailey as the #37 overall transfer in the portal, so this is a nice pickup for Steve Addazio, who hopes to improve on an abbreviated first season that saw his team go 1-3.
Best of luck to David on the next step of his football career, and thanks for your contributions to Boston College!
