Baseball
No. 12 Capuchino 2, Aragon 1
Cesar Ceron caused a celebration in the seventh inning Friday as he knocked in the game-ending run to lift Capuchino to a victory in Peninsula Athletic League play.
Aragon (10-7) led 1-0 after five innings, but Capuchino tied the score with a run in the sixth and won it with Ceron’s walk-off in the seventh.
Conor Meehan struck out nine and allowed one unearned run in six innings to lead Capuchino to its 16th victory in 20 games this spring.
Aragon beat Capuchino 7-1 on Wednesday.

No. 4 Palo Alto 12, Santa Clara 4
Leading 5-1 on the road after four innings, Palo Alto put this Santa Clara Valley Athletic League game away with seven runs in the fifth.
The Vikings hit three home runs on the day, one each by Xavier Esquer, Henry Bolte and Zander Darby.
Bolte finished 3 for 4 with three RBIs and Hayden Jung-Goldberg went 3 for 3, scored two runs and knocked in a run as Palo Alto improved to 17-4.
Jordan Montez had two hits and two RBIs for Santa Clara (5-10).
Monte Vista 5, No. 10 San Ramon Valley 2
Trailing 2-0, Monte Vista scored a run in the fifth and four in the sixth to complete a three-game, season-ending sweep of its East Bay Athletic League rival.
Brian Duroff homered, knocked in four runs and also walked twice to propel Monte Vista, which had lost nine in a row before heating up this week.
Monte Vista finished the season 10-14. SRV went 15-9.
No. 11 Sacred Heart Cathedral 3, St. Ignatius 2
Ronin Mukai had two hits, including a double, and knocked in two runs to lead Sacred Heart Cathedral (18-6) to a sweep of the three-game series and its ninth consecutive victory overall.
SI is 11-11.
Foothill 4, Amador Valley 2
In this matchup between Pleasanton rivals, Matt Ager struck out 11 in a complete-game performance and Payton McMillan had two hits and drove in a run to lead Foothill to a season-ending victory.
Foothill finished the spring 14-8. Amador Valley went 8-11.
Los Altos 12, Wilcox 11, 8 innings
Los Altos overcame an 8-0 deficit after three innings to avenge a loss to Wilcox on Wednesday. The Eagles scored three in the fourth, four in the fifth, two in the sixth and two in the seventh to take a one-run lead.
Wilcox, playing at home in Santa Clara, scored in the bottom of the seventh to force extras.
Los Altos (10-9) went back ahead with a run in the eighth.
Aaron Parker homered and doubled and Aidan Brenner homered and tripled to lead Los Altos. Parker finished with three RBIs.
Wilcox dropped to 9-4.
Mountain View 12, Cupertino 4
Tied 4-4 after six innings, Mountain View erupted for eight runs in the seventh to win this SCVAL game. Freshman Liam Barrett went 3 for 4 with two RBIs to lead the Spartans (12-4), who finished with 15 hits. Cupertino dropped to 1-10.
Softball
No. 2 St. Francis 13, Valley Christian 1
Linzey Allard went 2 for 3 with a home run and three RBIs to lead St. Francis to its 19th victory without a loss this spring.
The Lancers also got two hits and three RBIs from Jaz Hsiao and a home run from Sydney Stewart.
Valley Christian fell to 7-13.
Notes
No. 6 Archbishop Mitty avenged a recent loss to Presentation with a 5-4 victory. … Christopher handed Live Oak (10-1) its first loss of the spring, winning 5-2 at home in Gilroy. Kaylee Smallen had two hits, including a triple, and two RBIs for the winners. Christopher is 4-5.
