The Week 17 contest which features the Chargers and Chiefs has been moved to an afternoon start time.

Originally, kickoff was slated for 10:00 a.m. PT, but it’ll be among a slew of games that will be played later on in the day. Now, Los Angeles and Kansas City will open up at 1:25 p.m. PT on Sunday, Jan. 3 at Arrowhead Stadium.

The decision to move the start time was because the league typically makes sure games that have playoff implications on the line are played during prime viewing hours.

Since the Chiefs already locked up the No. 1 seed in the AFC and the Chargers are out of playoff contention, the game has no value to it.

The matchup was also originally scheduled to be broadcasted on CBS, but will be televised on Fox instead.
