Five Finger Death Punch won't be back to Duluth soon - Duluth News Tribune

Five Finger Death Punch will not play a makeup date at Amsoil Arena, according to a news release from the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. The Las Vegas-based metal band canceled shows in Duluth as well as Omaha, Neb., and Des Moines, Iowa because Jason Hook had emergency surgery.

The band originally planned to double back to the missed shows.

“We tried to find a solution to reschedule but there’s currently no date where all bands on the bill are available,” according to the band. “With that said, we love you guys and thank you for the outpouring of support.”

The other bands on the bill for the mid-December show were Three Days Grace, Bad Wolves and Fire from the Gods.

Refunds are available at the point of purchase.

According to the band’s Facebook page, Hook was taken to the emergency room Dec. 12 and ultimately had his gallbladder removed.

“Jason is back in fighting shape, the band will be back on the road again soon and we will try our best to come back to you soon,” according to the band.

Five Finger Death Punch’s new album “F8” is scheduled for release on Feb. 28. The song “Full Circle” was released last week. The band’s arena tour kicks off in April and includes a stop on May 20 at Xcel Energy Center.
